Tovino stuns in And The Oskar Goes To, but BO collection does not stun

And The Oskar Goes To, directed by ace film maker Salim Ahamed is a story about his real life struggles as he took his maiden film as the country's official entry to the Oscars. The film has Tovino enacting the same role of a struggling film maker and how he realises his dream of taking his film onto a global platform. Tovino was remarkable in the role of Issak and his emotions were at the right place in the slow-burning film. The film even won big laurels at Alberta International Film festival. The film released three days back in Kerala, and much to the surprise of all got only a lukewarm reception at the theaters. After 10 days, the film's Kerala collection stands at 1.7 crores.
