Nawazuddin Siddiqui's most difficult role in Thackeray is proving to be a huge disappointment. The film didn't rake a good number of audiences even on the opening day and now that it has completed its 1 week run at the box office, it didn't even cross 50 crores. So far, the film has somehow managed to pull 31.60 crores at the domestic box office. On its opening day the film earned in figures of 6 crores, and on weekends it pulled around 23 crores, however, the business gradually decreased in the figures of 1 crore on the weekdays. The film was in competition with Manikarnika and Kangana's film is doing much better than that of Nawaz's. But shockingly, it is January 11 released film Uri, which is gaining all attention.
