Suraj Venjaramoodu reveals the inspiration behind his role in Android Kunjappan

Ratheesh Poduval's Android Kunjappan that released a week back had an interesting plot. Though there are bits of fantasy woven into it, the audience were able to relate to it. The film is about a robot that makes an entry into the life of an old man who was an alien to technology. Suraj Venjaramoodu plays the 70 year old Bhaskara Poduval, a grumpy old man in whose life enters a robot brought by his son, Subramanian, played by Soubin Shahir. Suraj says that he drew inspiration for his role from his own dad, someone who was strict but good at heart. in fact, he says that after his make -up, he really did look like his late dad.
