Sila Samayangalil is not going to release in theatres

The makers of Sila Samayangalil have decided to release the film on the popular streaming platform Netflix and this Priyadarshan directorial will not be having a theatrical release in Tamil Nadu. It’s well known that the theater owners are against the idea of directly releasing films on alternative platforms and we have to wait and see how they are going to react to this move. Prabhu Deva, AL Vijay, and Isari Ganesh are producers of the film. Sila Samayangalil has Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy and Ashok Selvan in the lead roles. Ilaiyaraaja has scored the music for the film, which entered the final round of selection for the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards.
