‘Shorgul’ now to hit screens on June 24

The latest socio-political movie ‘Shorgul’, which was slated to open on June 17, has been delayed by one week, hence locking June 24 as its new release date. With its fresh date, the movie will now be competing with Anurag Kashyap’s gripping story ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’. Speaking to the media, film’s producer Swatantra Vijay Singh has said, “We don’t want this message to be lost when an equally socially relevant film like Udta Punjab is releasing and hence, the rescheduling, as audiences need time to relate and consume such heavy-on content thinking films.”
