Visionary director Shankar was working on Indian 2 when the lockdown was announced. Prior to that, the team faced a setback when it lost 3 crew members to a crane accident on the sets. As the film is a mega production venture requiring numerous people on the sets, the shoot has been put on hold. Now, we hear that the director is apparently miffed as the production house has not drafted the shoot plan yet and it is said that Shankar had sent a letter regarding this. Refuting these news that any letter was received from the director, Lyca Productions has stated that they are working on the shoot plan. Meanwhile lead actor Kamal Haasan went ahead and signed a film with Lokesh Kanagaraj.
