‘Saat Uchakkey’ got green signal after three years

The multi-starrer satirical comedy movie ‘Saat Uchakkey’ which finally got a release date this October, had been put on hold by Censor Board for past three years. The main reason behind it was due to its objectionable content. The matter came into limelight at the trailer launch of the movie where the maker said, "The tribunal had left the decision to us so our responsibility increased that we don't disappoint or dissatisfy tribunal. That took time. To say that things were made difficult for us, nothing like that happened. It was a journey that took time only because of us, because of our own directors creative call." Acclaimed filmmaker Shyam Benegal had come to the rescue of the crew of the film, hence asking for a censorship.
