Although Race 3 was a commercial success, the movie faced massive trolling because of its dialogues and songs. Recalling the mistakes committed while filming the movie, director Remo D'Souza said, "I learnt two very important things after that film. Firstly, never work on a half-baked script, work on the script much harder before you roll the camera. And secondly, I have learnt to put my foot down when it's needed, especially when creative difference happens." Souza revealed that he is emotional and his heart broke when audience made fun of the movie on the internet. Souza added, "Story wise I agree there were glitches. But I have seen worst films becoming a hit."
