Mega Power Star Ram Charan has won the best actor (Male) award at the recently concluded 66th Filmfare (South) awards held at Chennai. The mega hero missed attending the event, his uncle and star producer Allu Aravind collected the trophy on his behalf. Ram Charan bagged this award for his impeccable performance as Chitti Babu in the blockbuster period rural drama Rangasthalam. Sharing his thoughts over winning the award, Ram Charan said that he is super happy as the film impressed everyone and won appreciation from all quarters. He also hailed the vision of his director Sukumar and dedicated the award to him. On the film front, Ram Charan is busy filming his next RRR under the direction of S. S. Rajamouli.
