Rajkummar Rao roped in for yesteryear comedy classic remake?

Seems like its the trend of remakes in Bollywood. Another yesteryear classic is going to be remade and it is none other than comedy film Chupke Chupke (1975). The film starred Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan, Sharmila Tagore, and Om Prakash and was directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. The remake rights have been bought by producers Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and Luv Ranjan. Seems like the makers have started the process of casting too and they have cast one of the younger generation's favourite actor Rajkummar Rao. Rajkummar Rao has been roped in to play the role of Dharmendra aka Professor Parimal Tripathi aka Pyarelal in the remake. However, the makers are yet to announce the rest cast and crew.
