Proud moment: Nag Ashwin directorial Mahanati achieves rare honor

Young director Nag Ashwin pulled the virtually impossible feat with Mahanati depicting the life and times of the legendary South Indian actress Savitri. The movie was highly acclaimed by the critics across the various languages the movie was released, it became one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. Now, the Vyjayanthi Movies production achieved a rare distinction of being shown in the Indian Panorama Section at the prestigious International Film Festival of India which is to be held in Goa from 20 November to 28 November. It will be screened along with Padmaavat and Raazi. Keerthy Suresh immortalized Savitri with her performance while Dulquer Salmaan played Gemini Ganeshan with distinction.
