Popular director Diphan passed away

Popular filmmaker Diphan passed away, today, at a private hospital in Kochi. He was under treatment for some time due to Kidney related ailment. Diphan started his film career in 2003 with the political thriller, Leader. But he attained fame with Prithviraj starrer superhit 2009 movie Puthiya Mugham. He had directed 7 movies, with the latest film, Jayaram starrer Sathya, yet to release.
