Omerta Gets In Trouble With The CBFC For Using The National Anthem

Hansal Mehta's film Omerta starring Rajkummar Rao as the real-life terrorist Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh was supposed to release on April 20 but it got postponed as the censor certification was not yet done. Now, the CBFC has given the film an 'A' certificate and has asked for one major change. There is a scene in the film where Rajkummar's character can be seen urinating while the Indian National Anthem is playing. The censor board has asked the makers to replace the national anthem with generic background music to which the makers have complied. The film will now release on May 4th.
