'Nakshatram' is about honest cops: Krishna Vamsi

Creative director Krishna Vamsi has said that most of our cop films are hero centric or else cops are shown in negative roles. But 'Nakshatram' is about honest cops and their struggle. "Every character in this film has connection to one another and how the story unfolds forms the plot," said Krishna Vamsi. He said that he had considered to rope in a senior hero for Sai Dharam Tej's extended guest role but after a second thought, he changed his mind. Krishna Vamsi added that demonetisation was one of the factors for 'Nakshatram's delay.
