Trance, directed by Anwar Rasheed and starring Fahadh Faasil along with an ensemble cast, released a week back and is running successfully in theaters. The film is a satirical take on the miracle workers and how their crooked ways that exploited the religious beliefs of the people to mint money. The film had sequences that showed Fahadh taking medical aid for his psychological problems. It showed the side- effects of certain drugs on the patients. Indian Medical Association stated that such scenes send a false message to the patients who discontinue the medicines without doctor's advise which is detrimental. IMA also requested censor board to consult them if the film's plot had medical references.
