Manoj Bajpai’s ‘Saat Uchakkey’ ordered massive cuts by CBFC

The Central Board of Film Certification is again in news for halting the certification of yet another movie ‘Saat Uchakkey’. Just like it did with ‘Udta Punjab’, the panel has asked for 90 chops which goes against the certification policy. A majority of them includes cuss words which has been used repeatedly. Detailing about the problems in the language of the film, a member told, "In all our experience as jury members we had never heard such cuss words before, like 'Teri maa ki bahenc...d' and 'bahen ke lu.d'," says the censor board member says, adding that the CBFC had to find "ninety different alternatives to ninety hard-core abuses" and still the film was found to be vulgar.”
