Let us bounce back and celebrate next year, Unni Mukundan about Thrissur Pooram

The ancient and iconic temple festival Thrissur Pooram falls on May 3. The festival is one of the most attended event with lakhs of people thronging to the Thekkinkadu Maidaanam where the festival is celebrated. But as we know that all public gatherings are prohibited due to lockdown, the Pooram Committees have called off this year's Thrissur Pooram. Unni Mukundan says that perhaps this is the second time in the history of the state that the festival has been cancelled. He called for people to come together to fight the deadly corona and invoked God' blessings so that all the festivities which went uncelebrated this year could be enjoyed in the following year with great pomp and fervor.
