Creative director Krishna Vamsi is back to filming after a brief hiatus with a remake film. Titled Rangamarthanda, the film is the remake of Marathi blockbuster Natsamrat, and deals with the life story of a stage actor who retires from acting but struggles to forget his memories and bonding with stage and theatre acts. Versatile actor Prakash Raj and Ramya Krishnan are playing the leads, and it also features Anasuya, Shivatmika, Rahul Sipligunj, etc. in other prominent roles. The shooting of the film is in the midway, and the latest rumours suggest that Krishna Vamsi might also take the OTT route to release the film. However, it is too early to predict.
