Abhiram Suresh Unnithan's 'Himalayathile Kashmalan' which hit screens in 38 theaters in Kerala last Saturday is now pleading for the attention of cinephiles. The makers of the movie which has a line up of 52 newbies who have put their heart and soul into the film, is in a battle with exhibitors to get enough slots in the cinemas. Despite the positive reviews 'Kashmalans' has been garnering since the release day, the exhibitors have limited the screening to morning and noon shows. 'We too are filmmakers. It is just that we have no backing of a brand name. Even word of mouth publicity can’t be of help when there are no proper show times', says Abhiram who has also co-produced the movie.
