Karni Sena opposes Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi Bomb, Sends a legal notice to the makers

Akshay Kumar’s Laxmmi Bomb has been one of the most awaited movies of 2020. The movie which is slated to release this Diwali has made headlines for having an OTT release. However, just prior to the release the movie has run into some problems with Karni Sena. Shri Rajput Karni Sena sent the production house a legal notice over its name. As per the notice, the name is degrading Hindu goddess Laxmi and those who worship her. The notice also says it does not only disrespect a religion but sends a wrong message to society. Laxmmi Bomb is the Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster Muni 2: Kanchana. It tells the story of a man who gets possessed by a ghost of a transgender. Kiara Advani will be seen in a pivotal role in the movie.
