Karan Johar confirms ‘OK Kanmani’ remake

Karan Johar, who had made big bucks by helming the Hindi release of ‘Baahubali’ is gearing up to repeat the feat. The showman has officially confirmed the Bollywood remake of Manirathnam’s Tamil blockbuster, ‘OK Kanmani’. The film which starred Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen will have Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor reprising the roles of the original pair. AR Rahman will weave his musical magic again, this time with lyrics by Gulzar. The film is being directed by Shaad Ali, who had earlier remade Mani’s ‘Alaipayuthe’ in Hindi as ‘Saathiya’.
