Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli to appear before the police

After being summoned by Mumbai Police and failing to appear before them three times, Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel had filed a petition in the Bombay High Court to cancel the FIR. The High Court has granted interim protection from arrest to the siblings. On Tuesday, the court ordered them to appear before the police on January 8. A First Information Report (FIR) was filed against Kangana and her sister Rangoli have allegedly used social media to spread communal tension and divide two communities. Kangana's lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee informed that the siblings would refrain from making public comments on social media posts on the subject FIR.
