COVID-19 and lockdown have made theatrical business fall flat. Making things worse, the surge in OTT-business has raised a new challenge for theatre owners. But, with the phased relaxations, it is expected to get better in the coming days. Speaking about the same in his latest interview, producer Abhishek Nama said that it is a crazy situation no one is ready for. He hoped theatres to re-open soon to get things back on the track. He also stated that the industry is a place for demand and supply and the actors get paid for what they deserve. Talking about the threat OTT platforms bring to the traditional cinema, Abhishek said that it is a new platform for content, but it cannot affect the theatre business.
