Fahadh Faasil is on cloud nine as he won the National Award for the Best Supporting Actor at the 64th National Film Awards for his portrayal of Kallan Prasad in the Dileesh Pothen movie Thondimuthalum Driksashiyum which bagged the award for Best Malayalam Film. The actor says he was very sure about his movie winning an award but didn't expect to bag one for himself. "I think this is the most challenging character that I have ever enacted. It was totally new. But Dileesh was very particular that the character should act as though he was a regular at the police station. We really worked hard and it came out well as most of the actors are policemen," he has been quoted saying.
