Excessive 'bhalobasa' transforms into 'Mandobasa' - Tathagata Banerjee

There is no term called 'Mandiobasa' in Bengali dictionary, however, 'mando' bears the opposite meaning of 'bhalo' which translates to 'good', 'bhalobasa' stands for love and 'Mandobasa' stands for a twisted feeling that comes with excessive love which is not  a thing to cherish, explained Tathagata Banerjee, the director of 'Mandobasar Galpo'. The film that released yesterday, revolves around obsession, an emotion that starts from love but doesn't end there. Paoli plays a filmmaker whose 'mandobasa' makes the crux of the movie. The film also stars Parambrata, Kaushik Sen, and Indrashish in pivotal roles.
