'Devi' is about questioning society, says the director

Directed by Rick Basu, 'Devi', the gender reversal version of classic novel 'Devdas' has hit the screen today. According to the filmmaker, “Devi is about questioning society how it would react to a woman who fell in love and wasted her life. The film shows that male ego and morality can be questioned too." In the role reversal, Devdas turns into Devi (Paoli), Paro becomes Prateek (Shubh), and Chandramukhi becomes Charlie (Shataf).
