‘Deadpool’ undergoes 7 cuts before hitting screens in India

The highly anticipated Ryan Reynold’s superhero movie ‘Deadpool’, which releases today, is facing ban and edits worldwide. The movie hit Indian screens after 7 cuts and has been rated as an 'A' certificate by the censor board. The trims have been done citing violence and blasphemy as main reasons. “We have made very general cuts. If you look at what has happened to Deadpool in China, it was apparently banned because any number of cuts was seen to hamper the storyline of the film" told Censor Board Chief, Pahalaj Nihalani to reporters.
