'Dangal' Bags Best Asian Film Award at AACTA

After creating several records in India and abroad, Nitesh Tiwari's biographical sports drama film 'Dangal' is on a spree of receiving awards on the international platform. 'Dangal' was selected as the first ever Best Asian Film Award on Wednesday night at the 7th Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards. The movie was selected among 9 movies from India, China, South Korea, Japan and the Philippines. Anupam Kher and Shabana Azmi are also a part of the jury. Filmmaker Russell Crowe presented the award to Sakshi Tanwar who played the role of Aamir Khan's wife in the movie.
