Censored movie portions to be barred on the internet

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in India has now barred filmmakers to publish any excised portions of movies to anybody, the web including YouTube and Netflix. The decision came up during resumed hearing of a public interest litigation filed in January against the release of adult rom-com movies such as 'Mastizaade' and 'Kya Kool Hain Hum 3'. This subject came to light as most film makers silently release censored content online such as on YouTube and Netflix and there was no act governing how content should be certified (or censored) for the Internet.
