Bratya Basu starrer 'Baranda', based on Moti Nandi's novel with the same name has premiered in Kolkata International Film Festival. The movie also starring Rituparna Sengupta, Shaheb Bhattacharjee, and Manali releases today. While talking about the noted novelist, the actor told, "Moti Nandi is a brilliant author. He is mostly known for his sport-related stories like 'Koni', 'Stopper', and 'Shiba'. But, his books of different genres like 'Baranda' is also briiliant piece of writing." Adding to the same, he expressed what he liked the most about his writing. "His stories has an inner violence, morbidity, and coplexities of human characters which I enjoy the most," explained Bratya.
