Box office report: Why Cheat India opens up to a slow start

A quirky take on the Indian educational system, Why Cheat India has raked 1.71 crores on its opening day, which is the lowest opener for any Emraan Hashmi's film. However, since the weekend is here, we might expect a growth in the movie business. Out of the all the four movies which released yesterday, It is only Emraan Hashmi starrer which has created some buzz in the industry. Arshad Warsi's Fraud Saiyaan and Govinda's Rangeela Raja have emerged disastrous at the box office. Radhika Apte's black comedy-drama Bombairiya also failed to impress critics and audience. Despite numerous releases, Vicky Kaushal's Uri is still running strong at the box office.
