Ramesh Varma directorial Rakshasudu - an engaging crime thriller - is an official remake of Tamil psychological thriller Ratsasan which revolves around a cop and a serial killer who brutally murders teen girls. Bellamkonda Srinivas as the lead role has done justice to his role as a cop. With good thrilling and emotional elements, the film received positive WoM all over but, the rain and a slow start in the morning have shown their impact on the day 1 collections. The film on its day 1 collected a WW gross of 4 Cr, while it's share stands at 2.35 Cr. It's Teluguland collections are 2.0 Cr. The film is expected to pick up momentum in its opening weekend.
