Asif Ali starrer B.Tech, the campus entertainer directed by debutant Mridul Nair, hit theatres earlier this month. The movie which handles a relevant issue has opened to mainly positive reviews from the critics and is fetching good response at the theatres. According to the reports from the trade sources, B.Tech fetched 4.59 Lakhs on its opening weekend at the Kochi multiplexes alone. And in 9 days the film has gone on to garner Rs 23.53 Lakhs, which is indeed a good number considering the high number of Malayalam as well as non-Malayalam releases at the box office. The makers are yet to reveal the Kerala collection of the film.
