And the Kerala State Film Awards 2016 go to...

Some time back, Minister for Cinema, AK Balan announced the winners of the 47th Kerala State Film Awards. And as the audience wished, Vinayakan won the Best Actor award for his performance in Kammatipaadam. While the Best Actress award was bagged by Rajisha Vijayan for her role in Anuraga Karikkin Vellam. Best Picture award went to Manhole and its director Vidhu Vincent bagged the award for the Best Director. Dileesh Pothen directed Maheshinte Prethikaram won the award for the Popular Film.
