Srijit Mukherji's Shah Jahan Regency has Abir Chatterjee in the role of Samiran Bose which has an uncanny resemblance to Uttam Kumar’s character Sata Bose in Chowringhee (1968). However, Srijit earlier cleared that the film will focus on the whole story and one particular character. Talking about the challenges Abir faced, Abir revealed that he was aware of the pressure as the Sata Bose is an iconic character. He added that he knew there will be pressure, criticism and comparisons which are inevitable. Released last Friday, Shah Jahan Regency is winning rave responses for its stellar cast, story and performances.
