With Coronavirus scare closing down the theatres and putting people behind the doors, many filmmakers are choosing OTTplatforms to release their films. However, the big-budget ventures will be out on the theatres first and the makers are waiting for everything to settle down. As per the latest update, a major OTT platform with worldwide reach has offered Rs. 143 crore to the makers for releasing '83, a Kabir Khan directorial starring Ranveer Singh that revolves around the epic win of the Indian team in 1983 Cricket World Cup. However, Shibashish Sarkar, Reliance Entertainment Group CEO dismissed the news. '83 has been made for the big-screen experience and there is no change in the plan, he confirmed.
