Shiv Natraj is an elderly psychology professor who arrives at a hospital in Kochi. He is there to visit his comatose wife Pankaja. Tara Kapoor is a young advertising agent who also arrives at the same hospital. Tara heard the news of her husband Rajat Deshpande involving in a car accident. Rajat's co-worker Girish consoles Tara but she dismisses him rudely. Tara sees Rajat on the ventilator and gets disturbed, she leaves immediately to go to the waiting lounge. There she approached Shiv, thinking him to be a doctor. Shiv then reveals that her 8 months ago his wife had a stroke and since then she is in the coma. Shiv and Tara bond over the similar situation.
The duo continues to meet and spend more time together consoling and making happy each other. When Tara gets disappointed that her friends and followers have abandoned her, Shiv explains five stages of grief to her. The doctor tells Tara that if Rajat goes under a surgery, he might recover but the risks of the operations are very high that it might leave him partially paralysed. Tara feels more disappointed and seeks advice fro Shive. Shiv and Tara lands into a heated argument. Watch the movie to know what happens next.
