Velai Illa Pattadhaari 2

VIP 2 (Velaiilla Pattadhari 2) is a sequel to the blockbuster film ‘VIP’ released in 2014. It is directed by the Superstar Rajinikanth’s second daughter, Soundarya Rajinikanth retaining most of the star cast of ‘VIP’ including Dhanush, Amala Paul, Vivek, Samuthirakhani and Saranya Ponvannan. The two main additions to the movie are Kajol, who plays the antagonist in the film and Ritu Varma, who appears in a pivotal role.

Similar to the first part, the sequel is also weaved on the same lines of an underdog story. But this time, it would be much more fierce and powerful fight. Dhanush, who plays Raghuvaran once again, stands against the corrupt industrialist Vasundhara played by Kajol. Beginning with the light-hearted comedy, the film is expected to shed light how industrialist in our country are plundering the poor.

Dhanush himself is producing the film in association with Kalaipuli S Thanu under Wunderbar and V Creations banners. The film has music scored by Sean Roldan and cinematography took care by popular cameraman Sameer Thahir.
