Pratheesh, a petty fraudster, runs into Para Wilson house for safety when one of his pick-pocketing attempts goes wrong. He soon becomes a part of heist plan which Wilson and his friends Kauta Sivan and Gilbert plan to execute on a hartal day. Tip Dayanandan, a former bar steward who is currently jobless, accidentally bumps into them and the gang ends up snatching some money from him. Shortly, the police also drop in by the crime scene causing their neatly planned robbery goes out of hand. What happens then form the crux of this thrilling drama.

Varnyathi Aashanka is a comedy caper which closely narrates the contemporary political affairs in a shade of satire and humor. The film won the favor of the critics. However, at the box office, the movie ended up as an average fare.
