Uncle

Uncle is a family drama which closely links to the socio-political reality of present day Kerala society. The movie progresses through the life of a 17 years old girl and her dad's friend whom she fondly adresses as uncle. Mammootty stars in the eponymous role as Uncle while CIA fame Karthika Muraleedharan  essays the other pivotal role. Joy Mathew, KPAC Lalitha, Vinay Forrt, and Suresh Krishna are also part of the cast.

Uncle is scripted by actor-director Joy Mathew and helmed by Gireesh Damodar. Popular cinematographer Alagappan wields the camera while Bijipal Manayil composes the music and Muhammed Shameer makes the cut for the film. Sajai Sebastian and Saritha Ann Thomas bankroll Uncle under the banners ABRA Films International and SJ Films.
