Udham Singh is an upcoming Bollywood biographical film. Based on the life of Udham Singh who was a Punjabi revolutionary who assassinated Michael O' Dwyer, the former lieutenant governor of Punjab in India. The assassination was in revenge for the horrific 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar. Uri actor Vicky Kausal has been roped in to portray the titular role. The biopic will be helmed by the notable director Shoojit Sircar. The film will be set in the pre-independence era and the movie will be produced by Ronnie Lahiri.
