Tope

'Tope' is Bengali drama by National Award-winning director Buddhadeb Dasgupta. The film stars actors Ananya Chatterjee, Sudipto Chattopadhyay and Paoli Dam in the lead. The movie is an adaptation of Narayan Gangopadhyay’s story of the same name. The film revolves around Shankar Singh Deo and how he uses a child as a pawn to satisfy his ego with Paoli Dam playing the mother, who is essaying the role of a madari (street entertainer).
