The dialogues of the movie are thought provoking while the music does the basic job. The songs are rightly placed and do not break the flow of the story. This will make sure that the audience does not drift away and stay interested in the characters and their journey.

The writing of the story has been done with a lot of care as it is a satire with hints of an unconventional romance. The film might get too patriotic at points but it brings out the message clearly and is a brilliant representation of Indian and social behavior.

Overall, 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' is one of those films that tries to bring a sense of social responsibility in the audience. The story is good but gets stretched out towards the end. The music is good and the performances by all the actors are brilliant, and a special mention goes to Divyendu Sharma, who plays the role of Akshay Kumar's best friend.

Funny, yet gives a message.. This movie is more a advertisement for Modi's Swacch Bharat programme. Its start a little boring, but eventually gets interesting.. I thought, people in villages don't construct toilets as they are used to going outdoors to relieve or does not have money to build one.. never thought our customs say no to that.. Overall the movie has a good message and is funny... Definitive watch

This movie is not too good and there is no story in this movie

In first half it is comedy because of double meaning language

And 2nd half is too boring!!!!

Toilet – Ek Prem Katha Live Updates & Public Talk

'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' is finally out in theaters and we have the response of the public right here:

The film starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar seems to be receiving a positive response from the public.

The most important thing that the public is appreciating is the way the filmmakers capture life in a small town. The actors too have gotten into their roles perfectly.

Even though Bhumi is a newcomer to Bollywood, she manages to stay in tune with the experienced Akshay Kumar. People are loving her performance as a middle-class wife.

The problem occurs when people start watching the second half of the film. Even though the first half is entertaining and creates a good arc right, the film fails to capture the audience after the interval.

Despite a dull second half, the audiences are lovinf the overall message of the film and are sure that it will bring a positive change in the country.

Despite the mixed reviews from the audience, the film seems to be gettting a steady response at the box office and is expected to grow over the weekend. This is what the viewers of the first day have to say:
