Thugs of Hindostan

Thugs Of Hindostan is an epic action-adventure movie directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who had earlier helmed the blockbuster movie Dhoom 3. The actors are Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Hollywood star Lloyd Owen playing prominent characters. Production house Yash Raj Films is bankrolling this movie, that releases on 8th November 2018.

Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of Khudabaksh Azaad, the commander of thugs in this film while Fatima Sana Shaikh's character Zafira is a warrior-archer thug. Aamir Khan portrays the role of Firangi Mallah, a small time Thug from Awadh and Katrina Kaif allures as Suraiyya, a dancer and performer. Lloyd Owen will be seen in the role of a cruel British East India Company officer.

Thugs Of Hindostan movie also stars Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Ronit Roy, Satyadev Kancharana and Abdul Quadir Amin in the supporting roles.

The film is set in 1795, during which Khudabaksh wants to free India from the slavery of the British East India company. Once Clive gets to know of this, he sends Firangi to counter the plan of Khudabaksh. Thugs Of Hindostan movie is one of the most expensive films made with a budget of 300 Crores and marks the first time on-screen collaboration between the superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan.

Prabhu Deva has choreographed two songs for the film, namely Vashmalle and Suraiyya.
