The Tashkent Files

The Tashkent Files is a movie based on the mysterious death of Lal Bahadur Shastri in Tashkent. Shastri died on 10th January 1966, after signing the Tashkent Declaration, a move that formally resigned the Indo-Pak war of 1965. The movie stars Mithun Chakraborty, Naseeruddin Shah, Vinay Pathak and Shweta Basu. Helmed by Vivek Agnihotri, this movie is produced by himself, Pranay Chokshi, and Haresh Patel. The filming of the movie commenced from 9th January 2018.
