Jab Harry Met Sejal is a romantic comedy that marks the first collaboration between Shahrukh Khan and director Imtiaz Ali. It tells the story of a flirtatious yet depressed tour guide Harry and an exuberant and chirpy woman Sejal. The story starts when Sejal loses her engagement ring during a tour with her family and seeks help from Harry in finding it. Initially, Harry refuses to help, but because of the fear of losing his job, he agrees to help her.

During their journey in finding the ring, the duo eventually falls in love but never revealed to each other. Sejal later finds the ring in her bag but keeps mum as she wanted to spend more time with Harry. Later Sejal fly off to India which makes both of them incomplete without each other. The rest is the story of finding love. How Harry and Sejal will unite is an interesting thing to watch. 

The movie received mostly mixed reviews. Calling it a typical Bollywood cliched movie, the critics said it has a poor script with beautiful European visuals. Jab Harry Met Sejal was made on a budget of 90 crores and earned 150.06 crores at the box office.
