A 70-year-old John Biswas visits police station regularly in order to find who kidnapped and murdered his granddaughter Angela 8 years ago. Police inspector Sarita Sarkar finds nothing on the case. But John doesn't give up and starts to investigate on his own despite being criticized by the people around him. John takes the help of Father Martin Das who was in charge of Angela's case 8 years ago. Father Martin Das becomes a priest after being guilty of not being able to find Angela's kidnappers. John's wife Nancy is sick and in a wheelchair. 

One day a boy named Rony is kidnapped and everything about this kidnapping sounded exactly like that of Angela's. Inspector Sarita seeks the help of Father Martin in solving the case. Sarita and John then start investigating the case. They are able to nab Manohar who refuses to confess that he kidnapped his own grandson. Desperate to find the answers, john then kidnaps Rony and asks Father Martin to arrange a meeting with Manohar. Manohar then accepts his past crime. He confesses to kidnapping Angela but what he reveals is shocking and twisting. 

TE3N was highly appreciated by the critics for its intriguing plot. The movie performed moderately well at the box office.
