Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior

Directed by Om Raut, ‘Taanaji – The Unsung Warrior’ is a historical drama starring Ajay Devgn in the titular role. The film is based on the life and time of Subedar Taanaji Malusare, a glorious hero, a great warrior and military leader in the army of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of Maratha Empire. The film will mainly focus on Taanaji’s fighting skills and related combats. Among many of his achievements, Malusare is remembered for employing his pet lizards to scale the cliff and set up ropes for his troop of 1000 mavals to climb. Majority of fighting scenes will be achieved by VFX work. It is slated to release worldwide in 2019.
