Sweater

Sweater, based on Wool Kaata a short story by Joeeta Sengupta, is a story of an ordinary woman Tuku, who keeps on getting rejected by the potential grooms and their families. The young woman's confidence has reached the rock bottom as everyone around her keeps saying she has no talent. One day, the mother of a prospective groom asked her to make a sweater. She will only consider her as her daughter-in-law if she can weave a sweater. Tuku started learning the art of weaving and it gradually changes her life. 

Directed by Shiladitya Moulik, the film stars Ishaa Saha in the lead role. Noted actress Sreelekha Mitra and June Maliya along with Sourav Das play pivotal roles in the movie.
