Sunday Holiday Review

Sunday Holiday written and directed by Jis Joy of the 'Bicycle Thieves' fame, is a romantic comedy entertainer. The movie stars Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali in the lead roles. Sreenivasan, Alencier Ley, Siddique, KPAC Lalitha, Bhagath Manuel, Ramesh Pisharody and Sudheer Karamanaforms the supporting cast of this movie while director Lal Jose is featured in a cameo role.

The movie is said to be a beautiful love story replete with humor. The movie revolves around Amal, a young man from Kannur who relocate himself to Kochi. He meets Anu, a strong independent girl, who changes his life.  At the same time, it is also about wannabe filmmaker Unni Mukundan who chance to meet a famous director named David Paul.

The movie has some of the best talents of the industry lining up in the cast including Asif Ali, Aparna, Sreenivasan, Alencier. And if the movie turns out to be a feel-good romantic comedy as it is claimed to be, away from the new bottle,old wine cliches seasoned with over the top jokes, 'Sunday Holiday' might have its chance at the theaters.
